Carlton Maintain Perfect Start With Seventh Straight Win

Carlton Town Lions hosted AFC Kirk Hallam in a league fixture which saw the Lions record their seventh win in as many games.

Jack Cockram opened the scoring 20 minutes into the game, before Joel daft finished a sweeping move to give the Lions a 2-0 lead at half-time.

After the break, a flurry of goals put the contest beyond Kirk Hallam.
Jack Cockram completed his hat-trick with a quick-fire double early in the second-half. Ethan Turnbull and Aaron Wainaina both netted two and Ellis Tongue completed the scoring to wrap up a convincing 9-2 victory.

The Lions next face Wollaton Hall & Bramcote Green away at Highfields. The fixture sees first take on second in a highly anticipated, top of the table clash.
