WILLIAM GUNN EVENT FOR SUPPORTERS SET TO RAISE MONEY TOWARDS STORM DAMAGE

Carlton Town fans are reminded if they can, to get along to a fun quiz night at the William Gunn pub on Radcliffe Road, West Bridgford on Tuesday 23rd January 7pm.

The club recently suffered significant storm damage to the perimeter fencing and although the repairs have been carried out by Oakfield Construction, the club have not yet paid for that or the replacement fencing and any money raised on Tuesday evening will go towards this.

Msr Newsgroup have kindly sponsored the raffle and Simon Fotheringham from Nottingham Forest will host the quiz at the popular West Bridgford pub.

Chairman Mick Garton told us “ These events are crucial to the club, any money raised helps the challenges we face, we have no millionaires at the Millers and although a number of us make significant contributions, we can’t do it without the help of these ongoing events”

”We have had requests from supporters for another Dj event at the Dragon to and we will hope to get this on as well on a Sunday afternoon, hopefully in February or March”

”Hopefully a few will turn out on Tuesday and we thank Simon and Owen and Tom at the William Gunn for doing this for us and we look forward to a cracking evening” concluded the Millers Chairman.
