VICE CHAIRMAN PRAISE FOR OLLIE ROBINSON AS MILLERS GO TOP!
Carlton Town Vice Chairman Barry North had praise for the Carlton Town defence and in particular Ollie Robinson (pictured) following Carlton’s excellent 2-0 away win at Chasetown which took them back to the top of the table this weekend.
Barry watched a few games last season and has noted many improvements in individual players performances and he feels that Ollie Robinson is definitely someone who has benefited from working with the new management team.
” I thought Ollie was excellent at Chasetown, I really did” Barry told us.
” I thought Chasetown started well and were the better side during the opening exchanges, but once we got into our stride, I thought we dominated key stages of the fixture”
“Apart from Ollie, I thought Martin Ball was outstanding again and massive credit to him for a superb header that gave us that lead on the stroke of half time”
“I thought their keeper was brilliant for them today, but having said that Jack in our goal made a wonderful save in the second half which was also pivotal to the outcome”
“I think Chasetown are a really good side which made this 2-0 victory all the more special, in midfield I thought Danny Elliot and Niall Davey had really good games for us and Tyler Johal certainly made an impact when he came on with bags of energy and a cool finish which saw us home “said a delighted North.
The new Vice Chairman as certainly made an excellent impression himself at Stoke Lane and this website understands that Chairman Mick Garton is really enjoying working with him and is delighted with the impact he and his family have made at Stoke Lane.
Carlton are next in action on Saturday when Bedford Town visit Stoke Lane in the Fa Trophy 3pm.
