TUESDAY EVENING UPDATE FROM A BUZZING STOKE LANE

Carlton will enter September 3rd in The Northern Premier East League and with 2 Fa Cup wins bagged at Stoke Lane and it’s fair to say the club is buzzing right now.

September means more Cup action with the Millers away to Nuneaton Borough this coming Saturday in the Fa Cup before visiting Coleshill the following Saturday in the Fa Trophy, two very tough away games indeed!

Carlton then face a mouthwatering local Derby against currently second placed Belper Town on Saturday 16th September. If Carlton do manage to beat Step three side Nuneaton, the Belper game will be moved as Carlton would be in Fa Cup action again.

Carlton then have a very important fund raiser on Friday 22nd September when long time Radio Nottingham Nottingham Forest correspondent Colin Fray is the club’s very special guest in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar. Pork, stuffing and Apple sauce rolls along with chips are included and  this event is at the reduced price of £30 a ticket. As we go to press, details are just coming through of coach times for Saturday’s Fa Cup trip, the cost is £15 return and the pick up points are the ground at 11.15am and at Millers Barn at 11.45am , again to book your place on a first come , first served basis contact Boatsy.
