THE RETURN OF NAT WATSON ANNOUNCED AT MILLERS PRESENTATION NIGHT
One of the highlights of Friday’s presentation night at Stoke Lane was the Chairman’s announcement that they had secured the return of Nat Watson for the forthcoming season.
Nat had returned to the club briefly on loan at the back end of this season and it was the impact he made alongside the new younger looking talent the club signed last season, that persuaded the managers to ask at the end of the season, if he would interested in coming back.
The answer was yes and the club have moved over the last few days to make that move a reality.
This website understands it was the big wish from both Tommy and Mark and they believe the boost Nat gave to the club and the rest of the lads for that crucial run in, with fixtures coming thick and fast in the last 3 weeks of the season, was a key factor in getting Carlton into the playoffs.
The fans will no doubt be happy to welcome back one of the finest ever players to represent the club and hope his experience alongside the exciting youngsters can push the Millers on again next season.
In this latest footage to surface from Carlton Town Tv from last Friday, The chairman makes the surprise but popular announcement, before Comedy Dave joined the Millers Chairman and new Club Ambassador Ian Storey-Moore up at the front to present the president’s award on behalf of Roger Smith.
