Carlton Town’s amazing run of form continues with second placed Emley AFC the latest to be defeated at Stoke Lane and once again, the 200 attendance barrier was broken with 220 inside the Bill Stokeld Stadium on a cool but pleasant evening at Stoke Lane.
Liam Moran was the Millers hero getting the first half winner with a fine finish and in the second half, when closing in again on the Emley AFC goal, he was pulled back by Emley’s Charles Barks who was shown the inevitable Red Card, Chairman Mick Garton representing match sponsors MSR Newsgroup presented Liam with the Man of the Match award after the final whistle and his interview with Josh Hodgson will follow, hopefully in the next 24 hours.
Nat Watson’s resulting free kick crashed against the crossbar and another free kick soon after brought a fine save from Declan Lambon in the Emley AFC goal.
