SUPER MILLERS WIN AGAIN AND NIALL DAVIE IS 299 NOT OUT !
Carlton Town made it 11 games unbeaten with only one defeat in 15 as they came back from Liversage with another 3 points in the Northern Premier East League on Tuesday evening.
Club Captain Niall Davie made his 299th appearance for the Millers at Liversage meaning it will be a sensational number 300 if he plays on Saturday against Ossett United at Stoke Lane, on what is Non League Day.
Carlton’s 4th win on the bounce was achieved with goals from Liam Moran, Ollie Clark and Khyle Sargent and although the Millers remain 8th, they are now only 7 points outside the playoffs with a game in hand.
A home Double header is next up for Carlton with Emley Fc visiting Stoke Lane next Tuesday 25th March after Saturday’s visit of Ossett.
We will start the build up to Non league Day later, but for now we have the highlights from Saturday’s win at Stocksbridge and we can hear post match from coach Jonno Bell who gave Alan an excellent and extensive interview following the 3-2 win at Liversage.
