STORM REPAIRS START AT THE GROUND AS MILLERS GEAR UP FOR BASFORD CLASH
Carlton Town have another busy week ahead both on and off the pitch, with work today starting on replacing and repairing fence posts and panels in front of the grass and 3G training pitches.
Oakfield Construction are on site and the work will take a few days to complete, the money raised at the forthcoming quiz night at the William Gunn pub on Tuesday 23rd January from 7pm, will contribute towards the repairs and Mick and Boatsy have launched another Super Football Card which they are selling to family, friends and work colleagues primarily to help with this as well.
As reported at the start of the weekend, Carlton have reduced admission prices to Adults £8, Concessions £6 and Kids for a quid for the Wednesday night fixture v Basford United with the winners going into the Semi Final of the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup.
Both teams had excellent wins on Saturday, so will be going into this fixture in confident mood one suspects and the Millers are hoping for a decent turnout, for what is rare local Derby against their Northern Premier League opponents.
Kick off on Wednesday at Stoke Lane is at 7.45pm.
