STARS OF TELEVISION AND RADIO COMFIRM FOR CHARITY GAME!
The World game Changers Charity game against a Carlton Town X1 on Sunday 22nd May 2.30pm was given a further boost today when Boatsy secured the appearance of Sam Dingle from Emmerdale at the event after kind help from captain Paul McKenna.
Sam Dingle is played by actor James Hooton who is a Carlton lad and went to the same school as Chairman Mick Garton.
He told Boatsy today he would love to play in the game but is doubtful through injury, but has promised he will appear and support the event , given he was born in the area.
In a further boost Radio Nottingham Presenter Arun Verma who has featured Carlton Town on his early evening show ‘In the Game’ on a number of occasions in recent months is to play in the game, Arun also reported live from the ground during Carlton’s excellent cup this season.
Boatsy is pictured with Arun and the Chairman in a recent live studio interview as Carlton entered the business end of the season.
