SPONSOR SECURED FOR CLUB’S 20TH ANNUAL GOLF DAY THIS SEPTEMBER

Mark Steggles is delighted to report that he has secured a sponsor for Carlton Town’s 20th Annual Golf Day which this year is being held at Ramsdale Park.

Club President Roger Smith currently now in hospital in Sheffield undergoing Physcio therapy, following his recent operations was delighted when he received the news off Steggles today.

Roger has ran the golf day for the previous 19 years, but Stegs has taken the reins this year with Roger in hospital and he is reporting a good response with 12 teams already confirmed for the day on Friday 20th September at Ramsdale Park.

With Msr Newsgroup already donating a significant prize for the day, Stegs is delighted to welcome Mellors and Mellors Ltd into the Carlton Town family, the construction company based in Arnold are working on contracts close to the ground and after talks with Stegs, have stepped up to the plate for one of the most important fund raisers in the Carlton Town calendar.

Stegs appealed for a sponsor via the Millers website on 19th June and it has taken only just over a week to secure one, teams of 4 are £200 to enter the big day which includes a Bacon cob and tea or coffee on arrival and pie and Chips after the round.
