SOME MORE BIG MAY DATES FOR THE DIARY AT STOKE LANE INCLUDING PRESENTATION NIGHT

A big announcement was made on Monday regarding the very special game in memory of Adam Thomas on Sunday 19th May.
There has been an amazing response to that announcement with our Irish Branch first in touch with Boatsy to donate £100, a massive thankyou to Mike.
The first raffle prize came in from Katie O Brian’s new bar in Nottingham City Centre and we understand a Match Sponsor has also come forward and been in touch with Collette already, a great early response indeed and John Hickling as also reported to us, really positive feedback following the announcement from messages he has had back in relation to support for the day, both on and off the pitch.

The club themselves have also confirmed today that this years First team presentation night will take place on Friday 16th May from 7pm, more details will follow in due course, but all supporters are welcome in the usual way.

On Sunday 4th May, Carlton Town will once again host the “Trophy for peace” in support of the people of Ukraine featuring teams representing England, Ireland, Ukraine and hopefully Italy.
The gates will open at 11am with donations welcomed on entry and several fund raising initiatives will take place throughout the afternoon during the football matches and into the evening when the event moves on to the Greyfriars Club till late.
Retro Sweet kings will kindly sponsor the event and Carlton will have the Clubhouse and Snack Bar open throughout the afternoon.

On Sunday 11th May, Carlton will host the Empal Cup Final from 11am and in the afternoon with a 3pm kick off, Jps Jigsaw will take on Jewson in a Charity match for the “Band of Builders” and “Andy’s Man Club”, more details will also follow on this event in due course.
The club will also be showing the Nottingham Forest v Leicester City premiere League clash in the Clubhouse on that afternoon, which kicks off at 2.15pm.

The 2025 Punjabi Forest Charity game v a Carlton Town x1 is now expected to to take place at Stoke Lane in July, once again details will follow when everything has been agreed and confirmed.

Finally a reminder that on Tuesday 6th May, the Millers will be the beneficiary’s of the monthly quiz night in the William Gunn pub on Radcliffe Road West Bridgford.
The club are hoping to help pack the pub out and on this occasion raise much needed funds for themselves, with significant money needed for the pitch again summer and other upgrades and repairs at the Bill Stokeld Stadium.
The evening kicks off at 7pm and everyone is welcome to come along and support the Millers, on what is always a cracking night.
