SHEFFIELD GAME REARRANGED, BUILD UP STARTS FOR PONTEFRACT ON SATURDAY!
Carlton Town were tonight involved in a planning meeting regarding a big fixture they are staging on Sunday February 9th when a Manchester United All Stars team take on a team of Nottingham All Stars at Stoke Lane at 1pm.
Over 1,000 tickets have now been sold for this prestigious game by the organisers Superstar speakers and Carlton will be putting out an announcement in the coming days re arrangements on the day, so watch this space for a big update soon.
Carlton themselves meanwhile, have today agreed a date with Sheffield Fc for the away fixture which was postponed on the 4th January and the Millers will now visit Sheffield on Tuesday 18th February 7.45pm.
With the weather forecast looking more promising, Carlton are very hopeful Saturday’s visit of Pontefract Colliery to the Bill Stokeld Stadium will go ahead after losing their last two away games to the weather.
The Millers have youngsters from Mapperley All Stars lined up as Mascots for Saturday’s much anticipated game and a cracking guest speaker.
