SHEFFIELD FC NEXT AND SOME NEWS AND NEW DATES FOR YOUR DIARY !

  • Carlton Town will be hoping to continue where they left off on Saturday at Bridlington when they face Sheffield Fc at Stoke Lane this Tuesday 7.45pm.
    Admission to the Bill Stokeld Stadium is £10 Adults, £8 Concessions and £2 Under 16s.

Carlton eagerly anticipate seeing their fans again for one of the most popular games of the season, but the club have one or two other things and dates to announce as well.

Tuesday night will be the last time the Matchday programme will be only £2 sadly, the club have received notification from the printers today of a significant increase in printing costs and the price to print the programme will now have doubled in the last 12 months.
On being notified of last seasons cost increase, the club decided not to pass it on to supporters, but are now left with no choice but to increase the price of the programme to £3 from the Bishop Auckland game on Saturday 24th August, it was noticed Bridlington had been forced to make a similar decision last Saturday.
The one big positive for the Millers is the quality of the publication put together by the brillant Joe Standon.

This Thursday will see the latest episode of Quick Fire 5 at 5 and popular Millers centre back Dan Brown is the man who will be in the hot seat for this brilliant new Carlton Town Tv feature.

The club have already promoted their golf day and they are expecting a decent turnout for their debut at Ramsdale Park on Friday 20th September from around 11am.

Two days after the Golf day, Carlton will be opening the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar from 1pm on Sunday 22nd September and showing the Brighton v Nottingham Forest game which kicks off at 2pm.

On Tuesday 1st October, the Millers fans make their annual visit to the William Gunn pub on Radcliffe Road who are kindly holding a quiz night to raise money for the club, the start time is around 7pm and the club are hoping for a good turnout for what is always a cracking evening.

The same weeks brings Frank Clarke to the ground on Friday 4th October when the Nottingham Forest legend Frank Clarke is the club’s very special guest, tickets are £40 to include a 2 course meal and can be booked through Boatsy on 07907 064189.

The Firework Extravaganza is on Friday 25th October and further details will follow in due course.
