SANTA’S GROTTO IS IN ON ROUTE FROM LAPLAND, KEEP AN EYE OPEN !
News has reached the Bill Stokeld Stadium that Santa’s Grotto has left Lapland and is being transported to Carlton Town by Sleigh and this website understands Rudolph is one of the reindeer’s pulling the sleigh.
One of Santa’s Elves has today sent a picture of the Grotto just before it was loaded onto the sleigh and we can also confirm that big friend of the club Dr Marcellus Baz BEM will be our very special guest at the game v Bridlington on the 21st December.
Marcellus will greet Santa, before being interviewed in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar by Chairman Mick Garton at around 2.30pm before the game.
The club have invited some under privileged families to the game and some Carlton Town young Juniors, so their kids can meet Santa and pick up a little present from 1pm onwards.
The club’s annual Christmas Draw will also take place in the bar after the game with another very special guest Vivian Smith, before the players and management and some supporters depart into town for their own Christmas bash.
It promises to be a cracking Saturday at Stoke Lane, so keep your eyes pegged at the sky, that sleigh and grotto are on the way !
While we wait for Rudolf and his team to arrive, we have another quick fire 5, this week with Welch non league football guru Mark Jones.
