ROGER’S FUNERAL DETAILS ARE ANNOUNCED BY THE CLUB !

 Details of the funeral arrangements for our beloved long standing President Roger Smith have today been comfirmed to the club by his late wife Viv.

It will be on Thursday 21st November at 2pm at St Helen’s church Plungar and followed by a cremation at Gedling Crematorium at 4pm.

There will be two wakes, one at Carlton Town Fc from around 5pm, Pascoe will have the Clubhouse open early from 4pm for those who have attended the Church, but do not plan to go to the crematorium.
Viv stressed that is an individual choice for all attending.

The second wake will be at The Anchor Pub in Plungar at the same sort of time.

It is expected that Roger’s friend from the golf club Stoke Rochford, where he was so actively involved for many years will attend the wake in the village along with Roger’s neighbours and all Roger’s friends from the world of football will attend the Wake at the Bill Stokeld Stadium, including Carlton supporters and officials, everyone is welcome to come and pay their respects the Millers can confirm.

Viv also stressed that they do not want any flowers, but donations please to Plungar Church, Carlton Town Fc or Stoke Rochford Golf Club.
