RETURN OF JOSH RAE POPULAR MOVE WITH FANS !

Carlton Town were delighted to welcome Josh Rae back to the club today with a twitter announcement getting a large numbers of likes.

Supporter Roger Towers who said he would sponsor the next player available and presented the club with a cheque to back that up last week, will we are sure be pleased to put his name to Josh Rae.

Roger was one of a number of supporters who let the club know how disappointed they were when Josh left the club after falling out of favour with Wayne Scott and going by the feedback received so far, it is a popular move indeed.

Tommy Brookbanks who was impressed with him when Carlton played West Bridgford in a pre season game and has had him watched since and also spoke to the chairman who was supportive of the move to bring him back.

Tommy told us” We had him watched a few times and he’s always impressed. We feel he will add pace and flair to our side and he’s definitely the right age to make the step up. He did very well for my good friend Ryan last season at west bridgford and he’s continued that good form with Chris this season”

Rae will give a number of options to Tommy and Mark given he can play wide, through the middle or just off the striker and his skill on the ball should indeed be a positive for the attacking minded managers.

The club would also tonight like to offer many congratulations to Paul Rockley and his partner Gemma who last week gave birth to beautiful baby daughter Darcy.
