REBUILD STARTS NOW FOR TOMMY AND MARK WITH EXCITING NEW SIGNING ANNOUNCED.
With the dust settling following Carlton’s 2-0 win over Dunston on the final day of the league campaign securing them safety in the Northern Premier League East Division, a new challenge has begun for The Millers management duo.
They now have to rebuild and reshape the squad and regular updates here have been promised by Tommy and Mark. The first of these is a positive one indeed with the news that Kieran Knight has rejoined the club after a brief spell with The Millers two years ago.
Kieran is pictured signing on the dotted line with Tommy at the Bill Stokeld Stadium.
Speaking exclusively to this website, Mark Harvey broke the news.
“We are absolutely delighted to get Kieran knight over the line for next season. He had a short spell 2 season back with us and was prolific in that time. Following a very successful season for him last year. I watched him numerous times and he had clearly matured and one of the best players on the pitch everytime I watched.
We made him a top priority for the coming season and after meeting him it’s clear he wants this too.
Looking forward now to seeing him thrive and scoring plenty of goals which I’m certain he will do”
Much of the emphasis in recent days has been on clearing the huge energy bill and donations continue to come in for that of which the club are most grateful .
Tommy and Mark however have a new season to plan for which will involve departures for various reasons and obviously new signings and hopefully a few new sponsors as well which The Millers commercial team are working very hard on to.
We hope to keep news coming thick and fast and will do our very best to be right across it as we get concrete information to deliver.
