TWO IN AND TWO OUT AND PLAYER SPONSORSHIP DETAILS ANNOUNCED

A big Carlton Town welcome tonight to New striker Liam Moran who has joined the club from Newark and Sherwood, he replaces the outgoing Alex Hardwick.
We spoke to our new striker this evening who told us
“I’m very pleased to be joining the club and I can’t wait to get started. I’m looking forward to meeting the lads and hopefully building on the success of last season. Everyone I’ve met so far has been very welcoming and I’m sure it’ll be another great season. I’d like to thank Newark and Sherwood for last season but the chance to come to Carlton was one I couldn’t turn down”   Joint manager Mark Harvey was delighted with the new signing, but made a point of thanking Alex for his excellent contribution last season and left Andy Clerke to say a few words about Liam Moran.

“Alex decided to move on as travelling to Carlton from Rotherham has taken its toll on him. We thank him for all his efforts last season and wish him all the best for the future , he’s a cracking lad and will no doubt go on and score goals for someone else and continue to improve” concluded Harvey.

Assistant Manager Andy Clerke has been heavily involved with the job of bringing in a new striker and told us  “We’re delighted to bring Liam into the club, he’s a player we’ve tracked for the past few seasons since doing very well at firstly Southwell and then stepping up and having a strong season at Newark & Sherwood. We believe Liam has all the attributes to continue to develop and be a great signing for us going into the new season”

Carlton have also revealed to us this evening that Micah Jebbison has left the club and the club wish him to all the very best, but exciting youngster Jonny Gilbert is coming in from Notts County,  Gilbert was invited by Andy Clerke to play in the recent Millers side who took on Punjabi Forest for Charity and impressed everyone with an all action display in midfield, which included an outstanding goal from a free kick, a big welcome to Jonny !

Carlton Town have revealed details of player and management sponsorship for next season with the cost set at £70 for Home or Away sponsorship and just £120 for both Home and Away.
Commercial and Marketing Manager Gary ‘Boatsy’ Clarke says he will give current sponsors the first chance to put their name to the players they sponsored last season before he makes them available to sponsor by others.

The packages include 2 tickets to a home game next season for doing the home or away kit and 4 tickets for doing both. Included also is a photo with the player with our brilliant photographer Lou Lardi and the sponsors will be featured in every Matchday Programme.

The deadline for current sponsors to renew is Saturday 8th June, Boatsy will then reveal who is still free to sponsor for the forthcoming season, so any new sponsors can come on board.

New players can of course be sponsored straight away and the Mini Millers have already put their name to Nat Watson Boatsy has told us today, but both Liam Moran and Jonny Gilbert can be sponsored immediately.

To renew your Sponsorships, contact Boatsy on 07907 064189 or through his social media platforms in the usual way and for anyone wanting to get involved for the first time, you can take one of the two new players now or look out for the list of available players after Saturday 8th June.

Boatsy has asked us to thank you all for your support, it really is vital and much appreciated !
