OVER 1,300 TICKETS SOLD FOR LEGENDS GAME AT STOKE LANE

Superstar Speakers have confirmed that over 1,300 tickets have now been sold for the Manchester United Legends game v the Legends of Nottingham on Sunday 9th February 1pm at Carlton Town Fc.

The match is all ticket and people can not pay on the gate and spectators are advised to arrive early to avoid the queues that will inevitably form close to kick off time.

There will be security checks on baggage being brought into the Bill Stokeld stadium and spectators cannot bring their own alcohol into the ground.

Extra bar capacity is being put on, as well as extra food and hot drink capacity, with the bbq being brought back into action, after its busy Firework night last October and a Donut van which will also sell hot drinks, along with the clubs own snack/tea/coffee/ burger bar also well stocked for what promises to be an extremely busy day.
The outside bars will be payment by card only, but the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar and Club Snackbar will also take cash, as on a normal matchday.

There will be limited car parking at £5 per car in the clubs car park on a first come first served basis, but there is some on street parking on Stoke Lane and significantly more on Emerys Road which is the opposite side of the bus plug and from the loop road (A612), once the car park is full, spectators are advised to use the retail park off the opposite side of Stoke Lane which is free, but closes around 4.30pm .
The game should be over for around 3pm, given the 1pm kick off.

A sensible trip to the ground on what is set to be an extremely busy day is by train to Netherfield Station which is a 25 minute walk to the ground, by taxi or by bus on either a number 24 or 26 from the old market square (king Street ) near Alchemist.
The Nottingham City Transport number 26 drops off fairly close to the ground , but those catching the number 24 should get off earlier at Morrisons Netherfield and walk the remainder of the journey which is approximately a 20 minute walk.
The club advises those coming by bus to google the options and times.

The club have been allowed a limited allocation of tickets to sell themselves by Superstar Speakers to help towards their stewarding and Security costs on the day.
There are a few remaining at the ground as we go to press or through Boatsy on 07907 064189, but these are expected to sell out soon, so an early communication is advised.
Adult tickets available from the club are £10 and Under 16’s are £7.50.

The Nottingham team has been boosted with the likes of Chris Cohen, Kelvin Wilson, Steve Chettle, Paul Anderson and Marlon Harwood all expected to be part of their squad, Superstar speakers have told us.

Carlton Town Club Ambassador Ian Storey-Moore who played for both Nottingham Forest and Manchester United will also be at the game.
