ONE BIG FINAL PUSH NEEDED TO HAVE GROUND READY FOR NEXT SATURDAY!
Gary “Boatsy” Clarke has called on Carlton Town fans and committee to help him in one last big push to have the New Stand and Beer Garden Ready for next Saturday’s prestigious friendly against Merthyr Town.
Boatsy has done a considerable amount of the work himself on both projects, with help at various times from club volunteers including the managers.
Lou Lardi was the only club volunteer available on Saturday to help before rain stopped play and Boatsy is genuinely concerned that the work may not get completed without one big final push.
He is looking for help from anyone and everyone who can this coming Thursday evening from tea time onwards.
Tuesday and Wednesday are not options with many. obviously wanting to attend Jackie’s funeral in Leicestershire and of course, Carlton play Lincoln United on Wednesday night in their first home pre season friendly coming on the back of Saturday’s excellent 1-0 win away at Basford United.
Any help will be gratefully received on Thursday night when Bevan is due back at the ground if only for a couple of hours Boatsy told us.
Boatsy can be contacted on 07907 064189.
