NORTH FERRIBY NEXT UP ON BUSY WEEKEND AFTER EXCELLENT WINTERTON AWAY WIN
Carlton Town continued their excellent away form by beating Winterton Rangers 2-1 in front of 190 on Wednesday night.
Goals from David Adegbola and Dean Freeman (pictured) helped Carlton to their third win from three league games to leave them third in the Northern Premier East League table going into the weekend.
Next up is North Ferriby at home on Saturday and a massive thankyou to Dave Hodgson and Kuki Morley for their kind sponsorship of the programme and Matchball respectively.
Appologies to fans that we have not yet put out any match highlights, although the sponsorship from Aerocom has enabled us to take out a licence etc to film the games with the new equipment, there have been some teething problems with the new technology which the club have not used in the past and although the games have been filmed, we have not yet mastered putting out the highlights, Clerky has taken up the baton at the moment and hopefully we will have some highlights in due course.
The busy weekend continues on Sunday with the big Charity game at Stoke Lane in aid of the Rainbow Hospice , the raffle prizes for this event are simply amazing and tickets are £5 a strip or 3 for £10, if u cannot get to the game but want to support by buying raffle tickets, contact Boatsy on 07907 064189 or on social Media and he will let you know what’s up for grabs. The game kicks off at 2pm and donations are welcomed on the gate on entrance to the stadium. Police Chief Andy Wilson spoke brilliantly on Radio Nottingham tonight about the event and the Millers are hoping for a good turnout for a brilliant cause.
Monday brings a trip to Grimsby Borough for the big away bank holiday clash before the following Saturday’s trip to Nuneaton Borough in the Fa Cup.
