A MASSIVE CARLTON TOWN WELCOME TO OUR NEW GOALKEEPER!

The rebuild continues to progress at a thick and fast pace and Tommy Brookbanks, Mark Harvey , Andy Clerk and Trevor Wells were joined at Stoke Lane this evening by Chairman Mick Garton and Commercial Chief Gary ‘Boatsy’ Clarke and the new look squad for the 2023-2024 season took another positive step in the right direction tonight with the signing of a new goalkeeper.

A massive Carlton Town welcome to Louis Kinnerley who has this evening committed to a one year deal at Stoke Lane.

This is an exciting signing for The Millers given Louis’s performances in helping Hucknall Town achieve promotion last season in the Hucknall goal.

Joint Manager Mark Harvey, a former goalkeeper himself was particularly excited and told us “We have had excellent scouting reports back on Louis, so i have made a point of going to watch him myself on several occasions and he was excellent each and every time”

“Louis is a highly rated local keeper and we decided to make his signing a priority for next season and I am delighted we have got this done and we are really looking forward to working with him in the coming weeks and months” concluded Mark.

Louis spoke to Carlton Town Tv shortly after agreeing to join The Millers.
