NEW DATE FOR WILLIAM GUNN QUIZ NIGHT AND RECORD NUMBER OF TEAMS CONFIRMED FOR GOLF DAY !

Carlton Town having been busy preparing for their tough away trip in the Fa Trophy against Rugby Town Fc from the Northern Premier Midlands League this Saturday and as we go to press , Tommy and Mark have reported no new injury concerns after a hard week of training at Stoke Lane.

There is some news off the pitch however with a new date being announced for the annual quiz night with our friends from the William Gunn pub on Radcliffe Road, West Bridgford.
The new date is Tuesday 15th October from 7pm at the William Gunn and the club would ask that as many people involved with the club as possible can attend to help raise important funds to help meet the clubs significant financial outgoings.

There is good news regarding the club’s Annual Golf Day, this year at Ramsdale Park for the first ever time and organised this year by Mark Steggles.
Stegs is telling us he now has 20 teams entered, which we understand is a record and with Stegs securing new sponsors for the day with Mellors and Mellors Ltd coming on board and support from MSR Newsgroup providing a fantastic first prize for the winning 4 ball team and now we understand Budweiser are on board and supporting the raffle, the event promises to be a cracker on Friday 20th September.
