NEW AWAY KIT AMONG MANY ITEMS COVERED DURING RADIO NOTTINGHAM INTERVIEWS!

Carlton Town duo Mick Garton and Gary ‘Boatsy’ Clarke did not hold back when invited onto ‘ In The Game’ on Radio Nottingham on Wednesday evening.

All aspects of the club were covered including their Charity work in the community, the superb new away kit in support of Brain Tumour Research, the end of last season including the cup final win, the controversial move to the Northern Premier East League and subsequent appeal, new players, Volunteers, the trip to Merthyr and future proposed plans for that game and Saturday’s big memorial game at Stoke Lane in memory of Micky Barrett and potential Sponsorship opportunitys for any new sponsors wanting to get involved with the club.

It really was a full on half hour with Boatsy appealing for an away sponsor to support the huge extra travel costs Carlton face next season and mentioning new players such as new full back John White who impressed off the bench at Merthyr on Saturday, the form Bradford City youngster is the latest to need a sponsor.
