MORE UPDATES FROM STOKE LANE AHEAD OF ASHINGTON CLASH ON TUESDAY

First of all a big thankyou to Vice Chairman Barry North who has stepped forward to sponsor the Matchball for Tuesday nights clash with Ashington at Stoke Lane.

We mentioned in yesterdays article how kind Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson who we understand was watching and supporting his brother Louis who plays for Heaton Stannington, had been at the game yesterday and was kindly posing for photographs for excited fans at half time and a supporter has sent a photo in of him meeting the Miller Mouse, he did initially looked startled when approached by the rather large Mouse, but did step up to the plate for our mascot , so a big thankyou Elliot.

It was a Forest themed weekend at the Stadium with Passionate celebrations from Firework Extravaganza attendees when Forest scored their three goals at Leicester City on Friday night, with the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar showing the game on their screens and Forest mad Dj Sanj Beri playing the popular Forest songs to further stir up the crowd.

On Saturday, Our Ambassador Ian Storey-Moore was in attendance along with VIP Guest John O’ Hare, both Forest playing legends in their own right.

We have confirmation of a fixture change over the Christmas holiday, with Carlton now playing Garforth Town on Saturday 28th December at Stoke Lane 3pm instead of on New Year’s Day.

Finally we have highlights of Saturday’s 2-1 win courtesy of Carlton Town Tv.
