MILLERS UP TO THIRD AFTER 1-0 WIN AT BRIDLINGTON, CLEETHORPES UP NEXT !

It was an afternoon of debuts for the Millers with both new signings announced in midweek on the team sheet. Midfielder Ahmed Tahar and defender Pete Dearle were both in the starting eleven at Bridlington and will be delighted to have been part of a winning team in their first games for the club.

A  headed goal for Lamin Sisawo-Danso just before half time after skipper Niall Davie had missed a penalty, striking the Bridlington post, saw the Millers home to maintain their outstanding away form which has seen them win five and lose just one in the league so far this season away from Stoke Lane.

Belper Town are top with 25 points from their opening 12 games, with Hebburn Town second on 22 points from 11 games, Carlton are third with 21 points from 10 games while Cleethorpes who the Millers play on Tuesday night are seventh just 3 points behind Carlton on 18 points.

Stockton Town, Pontefract Collieries and Consett are all tucked in between in what is looking like a very competitive Northern Premier East League this season.
