Carlton Town are delighted to announce the signing of tenacious forward Alex Hardwick.

Alex joins us from Long Eaton whilst being dual signed at the start of the season with our recent FA Cup opponents, Maltby Main.

Alex trains tonight and is available for selection ahead of the weekends FA Trophy game away at Coleshill Town.

We’d like to thank both Long Eaton & Maltby Main for their support in Alex’s move to Stoke Lane.

Clerky added : Alex will prove to be a great signing for us, our forwards over the start of the season have been fantastic but we knew it was an area we lacked depth and at the right time needed to strengthen.

For us to bring someone into this group they had to be the right type of player and character to improve us and we have firm belief Alex fits that bill.

Mark Harvey added : Delighted to get Alex over the line. He’s been on our radar for over a year now but missed out on him twice.  So when we saw he was available from Long Eaton we moved straight in for him this time. Alex gives us another dimension to our forward line and looking forward to seeing him develop under us.
