MILLERS GEARED UP FOR BIG CHRISTMAS WEEK STARTING WITH BRIDLINGTON CLASH
This website understands that Santa Clause has left Lapland and is on his way to Carlton Town Fc and is expected to arrive at the Bill Stokeld Stadium at around 1pm on Saturday.
Santa will meet some under privileged kids, some Carlton Town Juniors and give out some festive presents for those lucky enough to meet the great man.
While the committee and Commercial team have been working hard on the Christmas draw, which will take place soon after Saturday’s game, with Viv Smith doing the honours, the management team have been making preparations for 3 games in the next 8 days.
A Triple whammy of Bridlington on Saturday, Sherwood Colliery away on Boxing Day and Garforth Town at home on Saturday 28th December could well give a big pointer to the way this season is going to pan out an and excitement is building towards a big week for the Millers and Tommy, Mark and the players have also been doing their bit to support the big Christmas draw by selling tickets.
The club has some big announcements on the way, some significant changes to the drinks selection at the bar and a new brewery partner, an update on a special event at the ground on Sunday 9th February and don’t forget to tune into to Carlton Town Tv at 12 Midday on Christmas Day for a very special broadcast.
In the meantime, the focus is well and truly on Santa and the Millers players taking on Bridlington this Saturday 21st December and hoping to deliver some Christmas cheer, before the players and Management embark on their Christmas party.
The club are asking that supporters, players and committee members bring back any unsold Christmas draw tickets which can be sold on the day, there believe it or not is a waiting list of people wanting to buy tickets and the likes of Mick Garton, Boatsy, Gaz Bee and Alan Murphy have all at this point sold out of their own allocation of tickets.
Finally, for those that have not seen it, Mitch Bush was the subject of Quick Fire Five this week and he didn’t disappoint.
