MILLERS FOCUS SWITCHES TO SATURDAY AND DONT FORGET THE BIG QUIZ NIGHT NEXT TUESDAY

Following the postponement of Tuesday night’s clash with Stockton Town again, this time due to a frozen pitch, focus now moves on to this coming Saturday 20th January when Bridlington are the visitors to Stoke Lane.

Carlton Town are also delighted to announce that they will be showing Brentford v Nottingham Forest on the screens in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar straight after Carlton’s game. Coverage starts at 5pm for what is now a massive game for Forest given a possible forthcoming points deduction, which would likely plunge them into a relegation battle.

Carlton are pleasingly competing at the top end of the table for a playoff spot, but are well aware Bridlington who sit 12th in the table,will prove touch opposition indeed.

Carlton will be welcoming a few guests from Burton Joyce Fc, courtesy of DJ Dan as part of our Community engagement initiative, which last week saw guests from Mapperley All Stars supporting the Millers.

The weather forecast indicates Saturday’s game has a decent chance of being on, with some milder weather around, all be it rain looks likely to make an unwelcome return.

The club now have a repair bill set to drop into the club’s letter box in the coming days for new fence panels and a few days labour due to the recent storm damage and the club are asking that as many supporters as possible could make the effort please to get to the clubs quiz night at the William Gunn pub on Radcliffe Road, West Bridgford next Tuesday 23rd January from 7pm.
The money raised will go towards those repairs which the club are not able to get insurance for.
