MILLERS ANNOUNCE IT’S GOING TO BE A MERRY CLIFFMESS!

Following the success of Barry Norths’s Elvis 60s evening last week, the club have rebooked one of the most popular performers ever to have graced Stoke Lane.

On Friday 10th December and on the back of a number of requests, Sir Cliff Richard (Cliff as if) will return to the Bill Stokeld Stadium and perform in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar for a very special Christmas celebration.

The event will start at 7pm and tickets will be £10 each, the club are also seeking a sponsor for the evening and Sir Cliff pictured with our very own Dave Hodgson will bang out all his favourites including his massive Christmas hits and rest assured, there will be a touch of comedy to from the great man.

Vice Chairman Barry North is hoping to build on his Elvis night which received excellent feedback from those that attended including Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey, who both supported the evening with their families.

A major announcement regarding the Firework Extravaganza is pending and will include details how to buy tickets online for both the “Cliff as if” Christmas night and the Fireworks event which also promises to be pretty special.

In other news, the club are running a coach this Saturday 25th September to Wisbech which will leave Stoke Lane at 11.15am.

There are a limited number of spaces on the coach for supporters on a first come, first served basis at only £10 each return. To secure a seat, contact club secretary Trevor Wells on 07808 768217. Supporters can then pay on the coach on the day.

Finally the club would like to thank their friends at Hilary’s blinds who have kindly donated a physcio’s bench to the club and in particular Wayne who contacted the club to arrange the donation, we look forward to working with Hilary’s again in the future and helping support their chosen charity.
