MILLERS ANNOUNCE DATE OF RETURN TRIP TO MERTHYR TOWN !

Carlton Town will travel to Merthyr Town for a pre season friendly on Saturday 9th July.

The trip has been announced early to allow supporters to plan ahead and this website understands a number of fans have spoken about staying over on the Saturday night, with one or two even considering going down on the Friday afternoon and stopping Friday night as well.

The game comes on the back of Merthyr’s visit to Stoke Lane last summer which was organised by Talk Sport presenter and Filmmaker Jonny Owen.

The Merthyr lads were made very welcome in Nottingham and have assured the Millers a warm welcome for the return fixture.

For those fans wishing to book accommodation, there are plenty of options around the beautiful Brecon Beacons but Mark from the Welch Fa has recommended the Grange Guest house which we must admit has some excellent reviews.

The Grange Guest House is close to the impressive looking local village pub, Drovers Arms.
