MICHAEL DAWSON SOLD OUT, BIG NORM NEWS, 8 TEAMS LEFT ON NUMBER CARD AND INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKER FOR CONSETT CLASH!

Welcome to a new week in the life of Carlton Town Fc with the news that the Michael Dawson event on Friday 9th June has sold out, the fastest a Speakers event has ever sold out in the history of the club. Boatsy is now keeping a list of people still wanting to come on a first come first served basis, in case of cancellations which usually happen and can be contacted on 07907 064189.

On the subject of Speakers events, the club can comfirm that former Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Mark Crossley who was booked for last years Christmas Luncheon until World Cup commitments with Sky Sports got in the way, is lined up for this years event on the afternoon of Friday 24th November.

Fund raising has taken on extra significance this season for a number of reasons, but mainly because of away day travel costs and the super number card run by the Chairman and Boatsy now has just 8 teams remaining before they can scratch off the winner who will win Corporate Hospitality at Trent Bridge for 4 people worth over £600 this summer for a fixture.

The remaining 8 teams on the card are Tranmere Rovers, Yeovil Town, Burnley, Stevenage, Bradford City, Bristol Rovers, Oxford United and Rotherham and it is £10 a go. Contact Boatsy on the above number if you would like ago with the chance of winning the fantastic prize.

Carlton Town are proud to announce that the final home league game of the season on Saturday 22nd April v Dunston will be a Food bank game with donations for our friends at the Netherfield Food Bank most welcome, it will be our last chance to help this season, so please all do what you can.

Finally we can announce an inspirational special guest indeed for Saturday’s game v Consett, James Wells Karate Champion is in the house and what a story he has to tell. A Black Belt at 15, representing England at Just 17 and then finding out he had Leukaemia at 21, his battles had only just started, but we won’t spoil this incredible story by telling you anymore, just be in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar for 2.15pm and all will be revealed.
