MASSIVE SUNDAY MORNING ANNOUNCEMENT FROM STOKE LANE!

Carlton Town are absolutely delighted to announce that Niall Davie has been appointed the new Club Captain by Joint Managers Tommy Brookbanks and Mark Harvey.

Not only is Niall staying at the club which is great news in itself , but he is stepping up to the plate with his first official leadership role at the club.

Niall was signed by former Manager Wayne Scott and initially played in the club’s Academy side and has just got better and better and there was there were plenty of clubs wanting Niall to leave The Millers this summer.

Niall has already proved his loyalty given the amount of time he has already been at Stoke Lane, but the step up to Club Captain is one he can be proud of and following his meeting with the Managers, he stepped into the Brian Dennett Suite to chat with the Millers Chairman Mick Garton for Carlton Town Tv.

The club have also told us that Kyle Sargent is the new Vice Captain and if either Niall or Kyle are unavailable for selection, Dan Brown will step up to the plate, three fine players leading the Millers into a new era and hopefully a better season in 2023-2024.
