MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO £500 WINNER DAN BROWN AND NEWS OF THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE SENIOR CUP SEMI FINAL DRAW.

Carlton Town’s Greg Last with the help of Deputy Commercial Manager Gaz Bee sold the last 8 numbers on the Super Football Card at Saturday’s game with Grimsby Borough.

The winner was centre back Dan Brown and after the game, Dan was presented with his prize after Cheltenham was scratched off meaning £500 for him and £500 for the club towards their mammoth travelling bills which have had a significant effect on the club’s financial situation this Season.

The club will need to do much more to balance the books but £500 is a step in the right direction and Greg has asked us to thank everybody who had a go on the card .

In other news, Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton and Commercial and  Marketing Manager Gary Boatsy Clarke will be the live guests of Notts Tv on Monday Evening for the Semi Final draw of the Notts Senior Cup 6pm.

Carlton are the defending Champions of the Competition having beaten Mansfield Town Under 23s in last years Final at Basford United.

Mansfield are once again in the Semi Final having beaten Notts County Under 23s in the Quarter Finals and they are Joined by Nottingham Forest’s Under 23s who Carlton beat in the Semi Final last year. Basford United the winners of the competition in 2015 , 2016, 2018 and 2019 are also in the draw.

Carlton also have a great recent history in the competition and were losing finalists in 2011 and 2019 and winners in 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2022.
