MANAGMENT LOOKING FOR A RESPONSE SATURDAY AFTER CUP DEFEAT
Carlton Town’s management team are looking for a response following Tuesday nights exit from the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup.
Carlton missed numerous chances in the first half to put the game to bed, but were hit with the sucker punch in the second half as Sherwood took a two goal lead, leaving joint manager Mark Harvey (pictured) bitterly disappointed with the overall performance.
Despite more pressure later in the second half, Carlton never really looked like getting back into the game as the clock ticked down on a disappointing night at Stoke Lane.
Poor defending and the inability to get on the end of anything, were just two area were the manager felt the players had let the supporters and the club down on the night and he gave a forthright interview to Carlton Town Tv on the pitch after the game.
The key for the players and indeed the club is the response Mark and the management get from the lads on Saturday when they take on Stocksbridge in front of what is expected to be another decent crowd at Stoke Lane.
We will start the build up to that game on Thursday but here for now is Mark’s interview, he was speaking to Alan Murphy.
