MALTBY MAIN, RADIO NOTTINGHAM, LYNDSEY HARKIN AND 150 CLUB EXTENSION COMFIRMED

Football is back and what a busy week indeed at Stoke Lane as the Millers swung into Fa Cup action. Tuesday night’s Win over Quorn was welcome indeed and the news came through last night that Carlton will host Maltby Main at Stoke Lane on Saturday 19th August.

Before that though, Carlton have a tough away trip to Pontefract on Saturday and a mouthwatering first league home game next Tuesday against Sheffield Fc at Stoke Lane and a cracking first VIP guest as Nottingham Forest Ladies Captain Lyndsey Harkin joins Chairman Mick Garton on the Microphone pre match.

Sponsorship packages for the first game are going well with Msr Newsgroup sponsoring the game, and the Dorking branch and Tattersall Lakes Holiday park sponsoring the Match ball and Programme respectively. Now Lyndsey (pictured) has been added to the Matchday line up, sponsorship of the VIP Guest package is up for grabs at just £60.

Chairman Mick Garton and Commercial and Marketing Chief Boatsy were on Radio Nottingham tonight ahead of Carlton’s start to their league campaign and also talked about the Fa Cup, Forest and even the Hundred, we will put the link out in due course.

Finally a massive Thankyou from everyone at the club for news we bring you tonight that the 150 Club will officially become the 200 club from the next draw on Saturday 19th August. The final numbers were snapped up at £10 per month on Wednesday meaning their will now become a waiting list for anyone wanting a number.

The next chance to have a number will come after an audit which will no doubt follow in the coming weeks to ensure everyone is paying their entry fee. If anyone is not paying they will be contacted and if payments are not brought up to date, the number will be released. Non payment will also mean missing out on prize money etc if the participant in not up to date, so please everybody on board where applicable, ensure your Standing order is set up and up to date.

The prizes for the August draw are as follows. First Prize £200, Second Prize £100 followed by 4 prizes of £50 and a fantastic bonus prize of two tickets in Corporate Hospitality at Nottingham Forest v Burnley on Monday September 18th to include a two course meal with Sponsors of the 200 Club Msr Newsgroup.

After the shock of the 8k Energy Invoice at the end of last season, there is lots of positivity now at Stoke Lane and the club would like to thank Radio Nottingham for their help in helping the club receive donations towards that huge amount.
