LATE PAIN AGAIN FOR THE MILLERS AS AYCLIFFE SNATCH LATE WIN, CUP UP NEXT

Carlton Town suffered more late heartache as Wayne Whitfield scored an 89th minute winner for Newton Aycliffe as the home side came from 2-0 down to beat the Millers 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.
It was the second time this week that the Millers had suffered late on, after Tuesday night saw a 92nd minute Ollie Clark penalty saved at Stoke Lane to deny the Millers a late winner against Ashington.
Carlton will have been glad to have Nat Watson back and he certainly made an impact scoring two goals in the first half.
Carlton drop down the table slightly to 10th following Saturday’s defeat.

Attention now turns to Tuesday night when Carlton take on Sherwood Colliery in the Nottinghamshire Senior Cup.
The Millers have already reduced admission fees for this game to £7 Adults, £5 Concessions and £1 kids.
