KELLY LAUNCHES JUST GIVING PAGE TOWARDS SHOCKING ENERGY INVOICE!
Pledges from Chairman Mick Garton, vice Chairman Barry North and sponsors Gilbert Wealth will bring in at least £2,500 towards the horrendous Electric bill.
Carlton today received a hard copy of the invoice including Vat of £8,714.03.
Carlton are hoping to raise close on £1,000 from a sports day, a significant amount from an extra Speakers event in September and supporter and sponsor Kelly has set up a donation page in order to hopefully raise another £500 towards clearing the massive bill.
Memorobilla sales from Dave Perrin’s collection will also bring in more money hopefully as reported already and further excellent ideas have continued to come in from supporters and commitee members alike and further meetings are planned in the coming days to help towards clearing this unexpected invoice.
Boatsy and Charlie called in at Trent Bridge at the weekend and friend of the club Luke Fletcher helped the duo secure a mini bat signed by arguably England’s greteast ever bowling duo Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad.
Kelly’s fund raising page has already raised half the £500 target inside the first 24 hours with Joint Manager Mark Harvey kicking things off with a cracking £50 donation.
To make a donation, follow the link below and rest assured, the club will work tirelessly to cover most of this through their own efforts but any support is genuinely much appreciated.
