JUNIORS ON BOARD SATURDAY TO TRY AND HELP THE MILLERS OVER THE LINE

Carlton Town entertain Consett this Saturday and the Millers Junior teams are coming out in force to try and help get the first team over the line and win a playoff spot.

Carlton suffered a setback on Thursday night going down 2-1 to Liversage after an excellent run had seen them catapult into the playoffs and there they still remain, but with Belper Town just 5 points behind and with a game in hand, Carlton still have work to do if they are to secure a playoff spot.

The Juniors will be providing mascots, holding their own presentations and supporting the first team in what is the clubs final home Saturday league game of the season.
A massive thankyou to Mark Benner at B4 services who are sponsoring the game and to the Dorking Branch for sponsoring the programme for Saturday’s game.

The troubled area of the pitch was covered on Friday following news of a downpour from Trent Bridge so thanks once again to Adam and Wally for shooting down to the ground and covering it on Friday morning and to Boatsy and Charlie who uncovered it again as instructed by Trent Bridge later in the day.

The kick off is at 3pm Saturday and everyone at the club is hoping for a good turnout to hopefully help get the Millers over the playoff line.
