JARED HOLMES RETIRES AND FURTHER DEPARTURES FROM STOKE LANE!
Carlton Town have today comfirmed to us that the highly talented Jared Holmes has retired from the game.
Jared was thinking of Caling it a day at the end of the previous season, but decided to play one more season for The Millers. One of the most popular and charismatic players ever to wear the jersey, Mark Harvey paid tribute “Jared’s a top player and even better person. He’s been with me for most of his career and a family friend now. He been a fantastic player over the years and I wish him and his family all the best in the future.
He will definitely be missed next season. But hopefully will show his face on the odd match day ”
Arron o Connor also said his goodbyes to the club last night after 2 seasons with The Millers. He posted a nice message on Twitter and has also privately sent a lovely message to the Chairman which was very much appreciated.

Kyle Tomlin was announced as a news signing by Eastwood yesterday and Tommy told us” We were hoping he would stay at step four, but totally respect his decision to move on and we wish him all the very best”
