IMPRESSIVE MILLERS WIN AGAIN AND ANNOUNCE GAME WITH ACADEMY PARTNERS FOR TUESDAY

Carlton Town continued their impressive pre season form with an excellent performance against Southern Premier League opponents Barwell Fc on a beautiful afternoon at Stoke Lane in front of 89 spectators this Saturday.

A fine individual goal by Lamin won the game for Carlton in the second half and despite a couple of fine saves from Felix, the Millers controlled large parts of the game and the only criticism that can be levelled at them, is that they were not ruthless enough in front of goal.

Carlton have arranged an extra friendly this coming Tuesday 30th July with Academy partners Pass Move Grin, which will give joint Manager Tommy Brookbanks the chance to have a further look at some trialists who have impressed in the last couple of games and also to look at how recruitment is coming along with the Academy and what the new youngsters coming on board look like.

The Club have announced that admission to this particular game will be completely free of charge to all spectators and look forward to welcoming Wes and the boys to the Bill Stokeld Stadium for a 7.30pm kick off.
