HUGE TEST FOR THE MILLERS IN THE FA CUP AND GOOD NEWS FOR MILLERS AND FOREST FANS
Carlton Town face one of their toughest ever challenges this Saturday when they make the away trip to Leamington Fc from step 2 of the pyramid in the Fa Cup.
Carlton are massive underdogs going into the game and will be without striker Jack Newell, due to his loan conditions along with Midfielder Kyle Sargent following his red card at Rugby Town last week and Lewis Druro who is still suspended.
Carlton are however boosted with the return to fitness of Liam Moran who was a second half substitute in Carlton’s FA Trophy penalty shootout win last week, his penalty however was not one he will remember fondly, but Tommy and Mark will be delighted he is back in the frame.
In other news, Nottingham Forest and Millers fans can now celebrate the fact that unless there are any clashes with cup games, there will be no clash with any home League fixtures during the remainder of 2024.
This has come about due to Nottingham Forest’s home fixture with Newcastle United being moved to Sunday 10th November 2pm for Sky Sports coverage.
Carlton Town are at home to Stockbridge Park Steels on Saturday 9th November.
Nottingham Forest supporters are also reminded that the bar will be open on Sunday 22nd September for the Sky Tv clash between Brighton and Forest 2pm.
The Millers have taken little money in the bar during September due to all the away fixtures and are hoping fans will come and support the bar and subsequently the club on that Sunday afternoon.
