GETTING THE PITCH RIGHT IS A PRIORITY FOR THE MILLERS AHEAD OF NEW SEASON
Carlton Town have been working hard to try to ensure that their pitch is in the best possible shape ahead of the new season.
Kris the Groundsman has been concentrating on re turfing the touchlines on the dugout side of the ground and both goal areas, while reseeding has been among the jobs carried out by contractors.
The problem area towards the new stand as been inspected by experts with underground cameras playing their part, with the help of John Gorman and our friends at Trent Bridge.
Work has then followed to improve the drainage following the findings of a blockage followed by more re turfing and Boatsy, Johnathon Hand and Adam Charles have once again been at the heart of this and the club is grateful once again for all their help.
Carlton are back in action at Stoke Lane on Saturday 13th July 2pm against a young Burton Albion side and will continue to work to ensure the pitch is good and ready to go alongside Kris and the volunteers.
This website also understands that details of season ticket prices will be determined in the coming days with an announcement set to follow hopefully early next week.
