FORMER NOTTS COUNTY STAR BACK AT STOKE LANE !

Carlton Town are delighted to announce that former Notts County star Greg Tempest has returned to the club today and will be available for selection this coming weekend at Sheffield Fc.

Greg made a Hugh impact at the club last season and the club were sad to lose him when a management opportunity came up at Clifton in conjunction with a partnership with Notts County.

When news of his availability became known to the Millers, the management team were keen to get him back to Stoke Lane and that can now be confirmed.

Assistant manager Andy Clerke spoke to us earlier and told us

“We’re all delighted to see Greg return to the club and feel sure supporters will be just as pleased to see him back”

“We knew Greg had a big call to make in the summer and although we all wanted him to stay we also wanted to support his ambitions beyond just playing”

“Greg was a huge part of the what was a really positive season last year showing his quality both on & off the pitch and we know he’ll come back in and hit the ground running when he joins back up with the lads later this week”

“Having finished the year with a really positive December adding Greg’s experience & quality for the second half of the season feels great timing”

“Welcome back Greg”concluded Clerky.

We also managed to grab a work with Greg following his re signing and he was happy to be back at Stoke Lane.

“It’s amazing to be back at this brilliant club, it was hard to leave in the summer but it was an opportunity in management I couldn’t refuse and which i loved doing also, Carlton was always going to be the club I came back to if things didn’t go as planned”

”I’m also delighted to be back in a slightly different capacity as well and hopefully we can really push on this back end of the season”
