FOOTBALL MAD POLICE CHIEF IS OUR VERY SPECIAL FA CUP GUEST.
Nottinghamshire Police Inspector Andy Wilson is the clubs very special pre match guest this coming Saturday for our FA Cup game against Maltby Main.
Andy is a massive Nottingham Forest fan and also the assistant manager of the GB Ladies police Football team.
He is also heavily involved with a big Charity football match to take place at Stoke Lane on Sunday 27th August being organised by former Nottingham Forest star Paul Mcgregor .
Andy tragically lost his daughter Isabelle recently and the information below we have received from Nottinghamshire Police explains the charity and we at Carlton will be doing everything to ensure Andy and his colleagues have a fantastic day and hopefully raise some decent money for the Brillant Rainbows Charity.
Andy will talk about that and also his job as a key Nottinghamshire crime fighter in our good city , we look forward to meeting him.
Nottinghamshire Police told us today
“Andy is a police inspector with Nottinghamshire police.
He’s a massive forest fan, season ticket holder for many years.
He’s the assistant manager for the GB police ladies team.
Back in June he lost his beautiful 15 year old daughter on her birthday.
During the final days of her life she was taken to rainbows for end of life care to ensure she was as comfortable as possible and that the family were able to have time with her.
Andy, vish and mich wanted to raise money for charity to mark his daughters life and rainbows was the obvious choice.
So they arranged the charity match to be played at Carlton “
The club will give Andy a warm welcome on Saturday for the Fa cup encounter with Maltby Main and we hope the Millers Family will come and support the Charity match on Sunday 27th August .
