FILM PRODUCER AND NATIONAL RADIO BROADCASTER ANNOUNCED AS NEXT MATCHDAY GUEST!

The big guests just keep on coming for Carlton Town and the next one up is one of the biggest and best yet.

Actor, Film Producer, Sunday Times columnist, partner of Tv sensation Vicky McClure and Talksport presenter Jonny Owen is the club’s very special guest for next week’s midweek clash with Sporting Khalsa at Stoke Lane.

The Millers are at home on Tuesday 8th February and Jonny Owen is just the latest in a long line of fantastic guests which have included Nottingham Forest and Carlton Town legends and world boxing champion Leigh Wood.

It was Owen who helped Chairman Mick Garton organise the Merthyr Tydfil pre season game and the millers are all set to go to Wales for the rematch sometime in July this year.

Jonny Owen and friends is on Talksport every Sunday morning from 9am and Jonny and his excellent co host Mark Webster interview some of the biggest names in Music, Comedy and the big screen , all of them football fans with a keen attachment to their club.

Noel Gallagher (Manchester City), actor Stephen Graham (Liverpool) and comedian Matt Forde (Nottingham Forest) are just 3 of many stars to have featured on Jonny’s show.

Tuesday will give the chance to Millers supporters to ask Jonny any questions they have about his brilliant career including the outstanding ‘ I believe in Miracles’ story of Brian Clough and the amazing Forest side of the late 70’s, early 80’s when he is talks to Millers Chairman Mick Garton and takes questions from the floor in the big pre match interview at Stoke Lane.

Carlton have secured Match Ball and Programme Sponsors for the game , but are still looking for Match Sponsors who will have the chance to spend time with Jonny Owen, a free pint on arrival, a half time buffet in the Academy Suite, Photographs with club photographer Lou Lardi and the chance to present the man of the match award.
