FANTASTIC NEWS FOR MILLERS AS ALEX HOWES SIGNS MILLERS CONTRACT!
Carlton Town are delighted to comfirm that former Notts County youngster Alex Howes has signed a contract with the club’s for the remainder of this season and next season and we caught up with Joint manager Tommy Brookbanks today.
Howes joined the club on loan from Basford earlier this season, but was recalled in the new year before finally being released a couple of weeks ago and Brookbanks and Harvey moved quickly to get him resigned and have now agreed a contract with the talented youngster who scored a cracking goal in Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Halesowen.
Indeed Brookbanks spoke exclusively to us today and told us
“Alex made his debut for us at Coalville as a 17 year old and we have rated him highly ever since. We feel he was very unlucky at Notts county with injuries and the constant change in managers at the time. He’s done well in his recent loan spell with us and on being released by Basford we were adamant that we wanted him on a deal for this season and next and fits in well with ourstyle of football”
Howes also spoke with Millers Senoir Media correspondent Josh Hodgson following Saturday’s 3-3 draw after news of the contract emerged.
