EAST LEAGUE AGAIN FOR THE MILLERS AND £2,700 RAISED AT CHARITY FUN DAY.
Carlton Town as predicted by the Non League experts are once again to compete in The Northern Premier East League after allocations were announced by the Fa this week.
Carlton will renew their local rivalry with Belper Town and visit Ashington for the first time along with Newton Ayclliffe and once again visit Winterton Rangers whom we believe we have played in the distant past.
The local Derby with Long Eaton United will be a miss, but as both teams stayed up, Carlton will still have a local Derby against Grantham Town to look forward to.
We are delighted to report that Eva’s Fun Day at Stoke Lane on Sunday raised £2,788.72 for the excellent Charity Forever Stars, that comes on the back of over £5,000 raised for the people of Ukraine at the Joint event with Greyfriars on 30th April and a record Food Bank collection on the last day of the season at Stoke Lane.
The club is extremely proud of the role it plays in the local community and would like to thank everyone at the club, it’s supporters and the local community for getting behind these fantastic initiatives and congratulate the brilliant Carly Clarke who organised Sunday’s wonderful event for the charity.
Carly and her team are pictured at the event .
Finally the club would like to thank everyone who has been in touch and donated towards our own fund raising appeal towards the shocking energy bill and responded positively to the Chairman’s interview on The Radio Nottingham breakfast show.
