DUNSTON AND BRIGHOUSE NEXT UP FOR MILLERS AS WEATHER WIPES OUT EAST LEAGUE FIXTURES

Every game in the Northern Premier East League was postponed this Saturday after a terrible week of weather brought a combination of snow, ice and finally heavy rain across much of the country.

The players trained on the 3G pitch on Saturday afternoon which was finally reopened on Friday night after being frozen since Tuesday and now look forward to a home fixture this coming Tuesday 26th October against Dunston, who make the long journey down from the North East for the 7.45pm kick off.

The Millers have also announced today that they are running a coach to Brighouse next Saturday 30th November at the usual price of £15.
The coach will leave the ground at 11am and Millers Barn at 11.30am and places can be booked via Boatsy on 07907 064189.

There are also just a handful of tickets left for the Carlton Town Christmas Luncheon next Friday 29th November with former Newcastle United and Manchester City star Steve Howie, the guest speaker in the Howard Mitchell Sportsbar.
The event starts at 1pm and includes a two course Christmas Dinner and tickets are just £40.
