DRAW IN FINAL FRIENDLY AND AFC MANSFIELD IN THE FA CUP !

Carlton Town now know who they will be playing in the Fa cup on Saturday 17th August after AFC Mansfield beat Rossington Main 3-0 in Yorkshire in the Fa Cup Extra Preliminary Round.

The North Nottinghamshire based team have already beaten Carlton in an early pre season game, so the Millers know they will be a tough test for the away trip on Saturday 17th August.

The Millers played Alvechurch in their final pre season friendly at Stoke Lane on Saturday and there was a notable up turn in intensity during this game with some fiesty challenges.

The game finished 1-1 with Kyle Sargent getting the Millers goal and Carlton will now focus on their League opener next Saturday when they face Bridlington on the coast and this website understands a number of supporters are staying at the seaside town overnight.

The Millers first home game is against Sheffield Fc on Tuesday 13th August, before the Fa Cup clash in Mansfield on the 17th.
